At first I was like, why aren't they talking about the big fking elephant in the room and then about 25 minutes in it slipped out that this was pre-recorded.
While I agree that JT is somewhat back (he may move up a little bit in the world rankings), I don't see him winning a major. Even in 2022, JT didn't play particularly well. Sure, he won the PGA championship in 2022, but it was a weird win (don't get me wrong it was obviously still a win), but it kind of fell in his lap. It wasn't like he came out and dominated… it was one of the weirdest major wins that I've ever observed. Only point being is that major win gave JT a nice set of World Ranking crutch points that kept him propt throughout a weak 2022 and this continued in 2023. Even if you disagree, I don't understand how anyone could rationalize such a drastic leap from JT to the point where he wins a major. At this point it should be can he win an event… there's no evidence what so ever to suggest he's on a path to win a major, especially when there are players who's play in recent months makes them major winning prospects, such as Aberg, Hovland etc.

This time of the year everywhere in the country you have to be careful for deer so not surprised that one jumped in front of Marks car. This was a great special. I had to watch it twice cause while this was premiring I couldnt pay attention to it. I tried but due to the news of Jon Rahm running away I couldnt (GOLF channel confirmed he did around 615pm est Thursday and Rick KP and Patrick did a reaction pod Friday). With a full season on the PGA tour Ludvig should do great. I think now that he knows how things are on the PGA tour he should be winning here on the PGA tour. It will be interesting to see if he gets PGA tour Rookie of the year despite not having a full season on the PGA tour. He joined in June.
I think LIV should start an International/World Tour and set up their own ranking system. They will most of the best players in the world in their camp anyway, their purses will overshadow that of PGA and DP Tour and golfers will wanna play in their tour. And that's how they end the arrogant PGA and irrelevant DP Tour. If the majors then still don't accept their golfers, the majors will also become irrelevant and a relic from the past…easy as pie.
