Rahm’s signing could be PIF telling the PGA Tour to sit down and start dealing with a little more intensity or we’ll raid your locker room again. In most boardrooms, the side with the most money almost always wins.
Nothing matters except the 4 majors.
All the players who towed the PGA party lines to the public were then betrayed, so I guess now it's every man for himself.
Why we are hearing "It's no big deal" and "Nobody watches it" from certain quarters, to the rest of the world he is a legend and people will be watching him irrespective of where he plays, golf is not owned by the PGA, The players are the stars.
Also all Rahm's Major sponsors are 100% behind him, what does that tell you about future media deals for LIV.
Make no mistake LIV will get bigger and bigger, fuelled by all the negativity and disrespect it has been constantly getting from one corner. (it's a mountain of free publicity)
I haven't missed DJ, Bryson and all the rest and I won't miss Rahm.
men's golf is just to much drama . the Ladies golf is better golf , they now need better payouts 🙂
They all have their price for their ethics and morality!
Good bye. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Another spoiled brat gone.
The tour has always been about current stars and former stars. No one goes to see the bottom 100 players at each tournament. They are professional golf and should be paid accordingly.
Who watches LIV Golf? It is a horrid format to watch on TV. I gave up on it quite quickly.
Terrible for golf, the beginning of the end
Just think where we'd be if baseball alllowed metal bats and balls that went straighter and further. Just sayin. That's the real concern of golf. Not money and who runs the show. Personally I'm concerned with my own game first and foremost (and I suck). To me, LIV and PGA formats both have their entertainment value. I prefer LIV only because the players are subject to the same weather and because most of the tournaments i play are shotgun and therefore i relate to them. I only wish I could relate to the "game' of the pros LOL. Bobby Jones comes to mind if I think of integrity. He didn't join the sacred PGA. He didnt do it for the money. Its like the PGA attached itself to his legacy so it could short change the pros. I can see right through that. Baseball, basketball, and football players use to get paid way less than their "associations" too. Its golfs turn.
