It’s a calling for ‘life’.

And rarely do you get the chance to share the highlight along with your comrades.

And on the forefront was Northbridge Golf Membership’s long-serving ‘tremendous’ Malcolm Harris.

Named as Superintendent of the 12 months, Harris has had a stellar profession, spanning 41 years at Northbridge.

And his contribution to the broader trade has been immense.

Harris has rebuilt each tee on the tight, testing Northbridge course in addition to undertaken in depth bushland regeneration initiatives.

The 5 ‘lifers’, Malcolm Harris, Gary Beehag, Mark Schroder, Martyn Black and Mark O’Sullivan got here collectively at The Crown Barangaroo on the NSW Golf Awards evening.

He has labored extensively with TAFE NSW in educating younger turf managers, a lot of whom have develop into leaders of their fields.

Harris joined the NSWGCSA 38 years in the past and was awarded life membership in 2021.
