The pga tour should want two things from Yassir: money and the ok where to return as much as possible.
Yassir wants the LIv players to be able to play other events and to bring in more players and for it all to somehow be in the same umbrella.
I personally just think what LIv does is exactly what any spot needs: a small closed shop (for one year) of the best of the best traveling the world playing about 2 events per continent.
Then there are much bigger field tours those top guys coke back to secure their spots in case they fall out of the top tour.
Surfing has its issues but has something like that —the US Open if surfing is part of the second tour but it’s very prestigious.
The pipe masters used to be part of the world tour but …well that’s where surfing has some issues.

There will be a deal when PIF gets essentially what it wants and no sooner
So what does PIF want?
– Automatic access to all for majors for top ~12-24 players
– A handful of the best players from the PGA Tour every year
– Relegated players get access to PGA Tour (and DP and Asia) for 1 year
– No fines and suspensions for LIV Golf players and the top players will probably play ~3 PGA Tour events a year
– PLAYERS, BMW PGA Championship, Saudi International become the "Big Three" Signature Events with full fields and the best players from all the major golf tours around the world (with the final few dozen spots filled by the respective tours)
– A transfer fee system for players. If PGA Tour wants to buy B Koepka it's OK, but they will have to pay LIV a 9 digit transfer fee and also pay B Koepka another 9 figures in bonuses (not to mention B Koepka's salary LOL)
– Room for 3 more teams so PGA Tour can get ownership of 3 LIV teams, partnered with SSG
