It's hard to take this seriously. I remember AK in its glory days; Tough, funny, cocky and talented. But this was nothing short of embarrassing. I see that several people want it to be like "yes, but it's AK and he can get a chance; We remember, so if he only gets sponsors and training, then ..". What kind of BS is that? A few weeks ago, a PGA professional was invited to a tournament and shot 14 over or so, and then there was a hell of a buzz on everyone about how he shouldn't be there, including me, when he "takes" his from players in the qualifying school and so on… Now it's AK and then he can get away with anything? He doesn't have to give interviews, he can play worse than usual and yet you should give him that? "PGA" would have done the same" you say, I'm not entirely convinced of that actually. That LIV does it doesn't surprise me at all as LIV has proven that it's golf's graveyard where players fall into oblivion and disappear and desperately try to find ways to be seen, which won't happen if it doesn't even happen when it was new and exciting. It is claimed that LIV is a better league? Really..? Sure, maybe they can come up with 10 players who are great, but then it's just a ridiculing place to try and look good and really no one cares in comparison to other golf. To sit around and not even ask a player to even sportingly earn your place is just ridiculous. These moves can only LIV make in the belief that you are more visible and what a setback it was, it is obvious that this passed completely unnoticed and still sit and think that his three rounds are ok at this level..? I find it hard to believe, even if you seem to be a very humble guy, that you would have reacted the same if it was, for you, a more unknown guy, or for example the man who for some weeks ago he participated in the competition (I think it was Dubai or something) where he made a complete fool of himself and got to hear it from everyone. Playing at this level is earned through hard work and not on past merits and "pity" mentality (something that LIV should think about). I was hoping for AK, which is why I've also searched a bit about his rounds, but think he was just significantly worse than you could ask for and wonder a bit if anyone even saw him play before? It looks like he played with Poulter in the last Round..? Either way, it must have felt really boring for that player to go with someone who couldn't even give an internal match, but had to "look for the ball" all the time. No, sorry, but AK had nothing to do there, or he did; LIV is the graveyard and not very interesting anyway, so he can hang on there until he finds the game again. But to claim that he deserved a place and give him all these excuses just feels like idiolization and hardly an objective assessment.
A k not the best looking guy on LIV golf! They should send him first to the minors! Every LIV TOURNAMENT he’ll stay in the basement!
His body language is not great, I hope that changes and he sharpens up his game, mind and demeanor, he can be great again I'm sure.

Theirs really never any fans. I watch some of the tournament from Vegas. The final group with Dj, Bryson and forgot the other, had about as many people around it as a public course in California on the first tee

Watching the real struggles of a professional golfer is more entertaining than only watching the highlights which are shown on the PGATOUR… The only thing that does is falsely portray how good the players actually are.
AK is VERY close to playing good golf again. Anyone with a handicap better than +5 can see that.

The thing no one seems to know and the people who do know aren't saying, is that the only way AK is playing pro golf is if LIV paid off the equivalent of his insurance contract amount so he could play again and not be violating the career-ending injury clause in his contract.
That's what is happening here.

Am I missing something here? This is a professional golf tournament with guys like Rohm and Koepka, etc. Is there no qualifying protocol? You said mini goals and such, a mini goal would be sharpening his skills on a mini tour event etc. There was nothing respectable with this at all. This made no sense. No belt buckle for AK… he's not the same guy. Drug use disconfigured his face, he burned thru his $12 million and is now broke. Probably sold his belt buckle's for drug money or the plastic surgery to fix his concaine-collapsed nose…
