Just gave me one more reason to watch LIV. He is really good still
Greatness Bill Clinton????? Oxymoron
one of them now
The Catholics fought the Protestants and the Globalists won.
This was so good. Michael B is a gifted journalist- his content is both thoughtful and thought provoking.
Thank you for the insight into one of my favorite humans!
Super fluff interview. No questions about the elephant in the room which is LIV. Would have been nice to hear about how he's received by his PGA pals or how he compares LIV competition to PGA Tour. Nothing new or revealing except the fact he hates American football!
Feherty is irrelevant now, enjoy LIV
One magnetic funny intelligent interesting wonderful c***
Absolutely the best. Watching this is like you're sitting down with him and he's talking to you. It's that real this interview makes you think about yourself and about others. I know I'll watch it over and over again thank you so much for sharing this and sharing David.
He’s a treasure of a human being. Flawed yet genuine, hard worker hence successful. Nobody’s life is perfect, we all have our battles. He’s handled his with class.
David Feherty Was In Xbox Version Of EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005.
What does it tell you about an EMPLOYEE of tour 54 when an interviewer is told NOT to bring up the topic of tour 54??
I agree wholeheartedly with his NFL comments. Look at video of anyone scoring a touchdown in the 70s or early. Class, humility. Now it's just egotistical narcissism
This was ok, but not really long enough to provide more than just a few interesting tidbits about someone who is certainly one of the great personalities of golf. Maybe as the idea of the show evolves it will hit on a person or subject that will do more than just scrape the surface. My other complaint would be how much profanity we had to hear in such a short video. It makes me think he drops an F-bomb in every sentence when he is not on TV. I guess every new show has to start somewhere, so good luck going forward.
BTW, if you haven't seen "What the Feherty" on the LIV broadcasts, you are really missing out.
David Feherty? I thought that guy retired to a small village at the foot of the Himalayas…no? What other reason could there be for him completely disappearing from professional golf?
David Feherty brings color to a black and white picture when he talks about golf. He gets it and explains it in a way that the common man can understand and enjoy.
I miss him on CBS and The Masters every year, and also his show on Golf Channel was so good. I have friend's and relatives who didn't watch or play golf that would tune in just to see his show.
I was lucky enough to meet my golf heroes when my father built a Championship Golf Course & Country Club on The Island (Waterford Castle Hotel) which he bought and renovated into a hotel in the late 80's. When he built the golf course in the early '90's Feherty (a lovely, charming person as you'd expect him to be) was part of the opening along with Designer Des Smyth, the beautiful Christy O'Connor Jr (nicest person I ever met – Actually a draw with Dawn Run's Gold Cup winning rider Jonjo O'Neill). I was so lucky because I'll always remember them in the most beautiful way. Like all defectors to LIV, I'll never be able to stand your voice or likeness again because you sold out to the dirty sword swinging Saudi's. Bought and sold for – blood / oil money. Destroyed professional golf and the PGA Tour. As they say in my native Italia – Disgrazia! Vaffanculo! 🇮🇹
I remember watching his show as much as possible when I was in HS. Just such a genuine guy and hilarious.
Man, I love Feherty. He's one of the, if not the, realest guys in golf. Funny, humble, self-aware, kind and supportive. I hate to see how he gets so down on himself, but I know he's struggled with that pretty much his whole life. He's a testament to what can happen if you just keep swimming. I'm glad he's happy at LIV and is enjoying himself there.
