Longtime Augusta Nationwide Golf Membership caddie Jariah Beard, who was alongside for Fuzzy Zoeller’s 1979 Masters victory, died in March at age 82.
Zoeller stays the newest first-time participant to win the Masters (solely Horton Smith in first event, 1934, and Gene Sarazen in 1935 have been different rookie winners). Zoeller famously gave Beard, who made his personal yardage ebook and regarded clubbing a participant to be an artwork, the keys to dictate yardage, clubbing and studying greens.
“He referred to as all of the photographs,”: Zoeller stated in a telephone interview with Golfweek.
