i'm glad J Monahan got whatever help he needed and is doing will now. However perhaps a little context would be helpful: Commissioner of PGA salary = $9,000,000/ year with access to a private jet. I think he did the right thing by making a deal, but that's not the problem. It's that he made the deal, or was making a deal while asking others to stand firm with the PGA. It's not that he ran from a fight, but rather his duplicity that he should feel bad about. And hey J, what do you think you're getting paid 7 figures for anyway? I think that people who make lots of money to do anything associated with a profession that is preceded by the "play" (including play music, play baseball, play golf, etc) should spare the rest of us the crocodile tears about the pressure and getting their feeling hurt.
The Thinking Man Show called it – medical leave of absence!
Should have let Jay go when he had the mental breakdown.
