spare me Mr. Loyalty
Can’t we all see he jumped once he got clarity the door would open back up for him? He knows who he is. He knows LIV is meaningless. He, and likely Hatton, know something we don’t.
🤮
Always compelling viewing Rahmbo both on and off the course! 🔥
is this on spotify?
Jon is a linchpin for LIV….I dont recall any interviews of significance by traditional golf media of other players that defected.
Smart move. Period.
Money was never going to be an issue for his family, he even said as much last year. These guys all act like they were impoverished before joining LIV, guy is a joke
Can’t help but like the Rahmbo. Great interview.
Thank you for this inciteful interview! John is very thoughtful. You come away thinking John obviously is one of the world's best golfers and they should be able to compete with the other best golfers.
Rahmbo is amazing! I love his new team name and the Lion! I can't wait to watch him on LIV! Mayakoba was amazing and Vegas will be even better!
Rahmbo wins this week, no doubt!
love it
Reasons to join LIV
1. Ownership opportunity
2. GUARANTEED money
3. Get to wear shorts
4. Less days of “work” (even if they play the same number of tournaments, the tournaments are one day less)
5. Team dynamic
6. Grow golf? (The start of LIV has certainly changed things at the PGA TOUR, but idk if it’s growing the game)
Reasons not to:
1. Legacy/records
2. Drama and media conflict
One word. "B——t.
Hard to respect these guys that squander their legacy for money. Especially since they were millionaires already. It's just sad for the game.
The PGA is just a polished up “ USA “ tour. Perhaps even the Tiger tour. How many tournaments are played outside the US ? Living outside the US, it just is stunning how yanks hang on to the “legacy” of the PGA tour. No one gives a fuck outside the US bubble. You guys are too damn brainwashed – you just don’t see it.
It's fucking blood money, you gotdamn ghoul. The people paying your salary cut up journalists into little pieces. How do you people fucking sleep at night
I understand leaving for that amount of money (no crap). I just don't think you should have it both ways. You left the PGA for LIV and that should be the end of it.
Only thing I’d say here is that even without LIV money Jon was set for life… as was his family
In Spain he’s getting the worst criticism
Nadal too.
lol. How bad must LIV be when Rahms answer is, “god, the money was insane. I wasn’t gonna go but it’s just so so much money.”
Really sounds like the actual golf is awesome!
The guy already had FU money before LIV. He had two majors, and likely a lifetime of endorsements to off course opportunities. The guy is a lying sellout. He now tiptoes any criticisms to his new overlords which basically says he has been bought out. What a clown.
Not sure why people are so triggered by him making a decision for himself and his family. He doesn’t owe any PGAT loyalist anything. I mean golf is one of the only sports where fans would cheer for whoever is winning, so basically barely any loyalty to a golfer. People should just grow up, enjoy these golfers and the show they put on, and feel free to watch or not watch.
Obviously money meant more than playing those tournaments that “ you’d love to go play “
