I read "Fat Perez" so I stopped in to see who would beef with a world class athlete like "Fat Perez" but then I read it correctly and was like, "Oh carry on" lol
What a bunch of cr@p! Like the few thousand fans who have the pleasure of seeing a live LIV show will make it all better. Most of us will never be able to see this great show and true golf afficionados care about the game, not the ¨show¨. I say it´s great that whoever is able to join LIV can do so. I just don´t like that they want to have their cake and eat it too. Just go away and play your shows.
Pat is right about the PGA Tour not caring about it's fans. At the Farmer's tournament in San Diego, fans are not allowed access to watch players on the driving range. For the avid golfer, watching the best players in the world hit balls on the range is a treat, and provides great visuals to try to emulate – especially in how smooth their swings are. It was a major reason why I went to Tour events – access to the range was always part of the fan experience. They'll site security concerns but the real reason is they are all too entitled….
At the direction of the Tour, they also do not even cut holes on the two practice putting greens at Torrey Pines (where the Farmer's is held) during the course of the entire year (except of course when Obama played there – they cut holes that day). They think they are almighty. Torrey Pines is a municipal golf course, i.e. supposed to be for the benefit of the public. I despise LIV golf but must admit I'm happy to watch the Tour get some comeuppance…
Whats BS is this feud designed to bring attention to more BS, LIV golf. Long live the memory of Khashoggi.
