I have a couple of Nike in my closet. Haven’t worn them them since Nike supported Kaperdick! Told the golf shop I would love to buy one of their shirts, but not as long as they are Nike. The response from the manager, “you’re not the only one that has told me that”. And that was just this past fall. Bye, bye Nike! Go woke, go broke. We vote with our pocket book.

NIKE shoes were always crap. Tiger's need for a real shoe after surgery confirmed it to the world.

Ignorance in your benchmarking of each market niche you mention golf vs “ Jordan s “ – research data on real volume and research data on the growth/ no no growth .. and lastly .. research the bottom line of each niche. The vanity metrics are not the metrics are real metrics that matter

Nike golf shoes SUCKS big time! They were never serious in making good performing shoes in the first place. And as for the apparels, it’s alway over-rated in part due to Tiger, Rory and the gang. Adidas will likely sign all ex-Nike free agents for a song.

I’m 95% with you guys on this, however, I feel what Tiger does will be more “woods” centric, less “tiger”, because I think Tiger will build a brand that will incorporate other players INCLUDING Charlie

Nike has Jorden and Jump Man. Maybe the most poplar golf shoe is Jordan’s.

Rumor is Nike is going to LIV and will by Smash GC from Brooks

just my 2 cents…. when ever your clip has the white title with a red line at the top, my mind just already assumes I've watched the video. I know they are completely different lines but my subconscious wins every time.

Tiger starting an apparel brand? Definitely possible, but I hope he has good designers and keeps his ideas to himself. Tiger doesn’t really have the best eye for style. Guys wears leggings with basketball shorts.

This isn’t exactly unexpected, I mean Nike stopped making golf clubs years ago. Not exactly a surprise that they would stop paying insane money to golfers. Nike just posted poor financial results this week.

I you've ever noticed or played attention you'd know that it's Tiger being Tiger. As for the shoes Nike didn't make a shoe that gave him the support he needed after his injuries.

Nike has first and foremost been a footwear and apparel company, NOT an equipment company.
For them to pull out of the golf equipment space is understandable.
To see them to pull out of the golf apparel space would be shocking.
But anything is possible, we shall see…

Nike’s equipment line of clubs made up about 2% of their total sales, so getting out of golf equipment was a no brainer.
As for apparel, the cost of making apparel is cheap overseas.
Tiger’s golf line with Nike is expensive, so if Tiger gets into the rag trade, he will have to decide whether he wants to dilute his brand like Greg or keep TW products in the premium price level.

After a year or more of multiple podcasts all trying their best to bring clarity and entertainment to the Fans and those concerned with the PGA Tour, the message has been sent by too many Major Players, too many Sponsors, and too many Fans, especially those fans who reside outside the USA representing the global market, GOOD-BY, HAVE A NICE DAY.

I agree Nike Tiger will go the MJ route and have his own Brand. I do believe that Nike will not end all golf stuff but they will probably pull back on how much they are making and be a little more exclusive.

My prediction is that tiger follows Charlie over to Greyson and hey makes a deal where he has equity in the company. And they release a Tiger Line… they already have the wolf on the back of the greyson shirts why not add a Tiger line too. Charlie will be wolf and Tiger will be Tiger.
