Not a personal shot against any of you however when did "having to be right" ever slow down the media from reporting speculation? Reporting narratives that when flushed out turn out to be not true is almost all that the media does.

Hey Guys, from what I understand, the PGA purchasing the DP world tour was part of this deal completing. However, the DOJ will never approve the purchase of the DP world tour due to Monahan admitting he wants a monopoly over world golf. Would the PIF simply buy the DP world tour and then continue merger options with PGA Tour. They would have all the cards and end up with 80% of the Tour. Ideas?

The fact the pga blindsided their players with a joint venture with LIV is going to back fire. If you are a PGA player you need to join LIV as soon as possible and get your bag. Turning down 100s of millions is a once in a lifetime opportunity and anyone bad mouthing players for going is crazy. Only players that won't go are Spieth and Rory. Everyone else offered the right money will potentially go and I don't blame them one bit.
