The PGA is dead from my perspective and I have played our wonderful game for 65 years now and still going and have shot my age 8 times so far – in two years. "PGA" stands for "Prostituted Golf (for) Avarice." The modern golf courses are closer to the level of "Putt Putt" than what I grew up on. And look at the porno-golf on Youtube now. Sickening. People are being lead to believe that individual women golfers, who happen to be young, attractive and endowed, created their own website to promote golf and created a business. It's Porno-golf. I quit watching PGA golf long ago. Never more. I don't play modern, stadium golf courses – too expensive and too tricked up. I'm still expecting to see holes with windmills and clown faces with an open mouth. There is no longer risk and reward – there is only "If you're not perfect you may find disaster." A level of near hopelessness, like a modern form of gladiator spectacle – as the ROman's referred to it: 'Bread and Circuses" – for the comatose masses. "The lion will eat you in the end." Stop watching PGA. Watch LIV. Play the game yourself. Avoid "modern" courses. I am one that still thinks that the 16th at Augusta is an abomination. Even though I've watched golf especially the master most of my life. A course I play on created a mirror-image of the 16th (sloping right to left) and it's an abomination. A joke. I almost cancelled my long-term membership just because they had changed their signature hole from a beautiful double-dog-leg par 5 with a lot of fair risk/reward into a par 3 like the 16th. Purportedly to speed up play now people can't even finish the par-3 – many just pick up.

The real sad part is that more recent generations of golfers see the golfing world as normal. The tricked up greens is normal. It's as though they grew up on putt-putt courses. People watch Tiger Woods incredible chip-in from the back left off the green at 16. It was an amazing chip-in but it's a joke of a hole like the one I play on. On my course I have hit a shot on our "16th" that ended up 8 inches in front of the pen. The next day, virtually the same shot, landed in the same place, on the upper tier, and for some unknown reason it moved slightly right, caught the ridge, rolled into the swale and into the lake. Virtually the same shot resulted in a birdie one day and a double-bogey the next day. Only God knows why? It's a circus no longer a sport.

Note that the world renowned psychiatrist, Dr. M. Scott Peck – who first wrote the book "THe Road Less Traveled" that purportedly outsold the Bible around 1979 – later wrote a book 'GOlf and the Spirit". In it he posed the thesis that "Golf is different than other sports that we can all agree are metaphors for life. Golf is not a metaphor for life. GOLF IS LIFE." And he explained why in his book. Peck was and is still referred to as 'The conscience of humanity" – holding humanity for having a conscience and facing reality and reasonableness and truth (the basis of good mental health).

I bet he's rolling over in his grave in these days.

Here in the US LIV has seen a ratings dip during the early summer months, and stopped reporting viewership numbers. They started out great the first tournament with almost half a million viewers on the weekend, but by the end of May they were back under 250,000! That’s not good!

Figuring out why LIV is working is simple. 48% of society swings liberal or conservative. The idiot running the PGA brought politics into the league. The very second golfers were given a way out of that mess they took it. Sponsors like Honda, Wells Fargo, Dell, etc… see that and bailed. If I were a betting man the PGA will not exist without the help of LIV in the near future.

Am I actually listening to life advice from a bunch half-ass golf bros. First of all, interchanging equity and equality is the domain of the uninformed. Equality is equal opportunity – everyone getting to tee off on the same course. Equity is demanding that each golfer finish with the same score. Actual sports people are among the most aware that the more skilled golfer is going to score lower; this is one of the best life lessons of sport. And heaven forbid, that there are more members of a certain ethnic group shooting higher. Why then, golf is a racist game. Get it? No charge for an actual, real discourse. And since schedules and math are now racist according to the progressive wokesters, the game of golf is not for them – miss you tee time and your are DQ-ed and sign the wrong total on your score card and you are DQ-ed. Martin Luther King would be the first person who would have agreed with this. Of course, the LIV tour requires even better math skills because the rock music is very distracting.

The pga tour is done and it's about time the US monopoly of the sport was broken. Can't wait for LIV Adelaide in my home town. Of course LIV will get a bigger tv deal, most of the players that matter are on LIV. The show isn't the same without big boy pants btw.

I don't have a TV anymore. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… … let the LIV streaming just take over and have every team have their YouTube channels with behind the scenes vids. 🀘🏻😎🀘🏻
