I love that Rory can do a complete 180 and receive no criticism from these guys and then Phil has said the same thing since inception and receive no credit

Rick might find himself being offered a job if he goes to LIV Vegas 🤑 Patrick is right it will be sick especially with the superbowl fans in town, it very well could upstage the Waste Management this year…..

Patrick is a bloody clown. You have all this poisonous BS about “pga is a meritocracy” and then the Vincent brothers actually grind to qualify for LIV and you still make fun of them joining? Can’t wait to see you guys dwindle down with the pga. It’s already happening!

LIV always waste to the last minute to delay rumors. They still have 1/2 the teams that need 1-2 members. Tyrrell is still in the field for this week and next week. I dont think it came down to the 11th hour. Thats LIV for you. I think Tyrrell signed the moment Jon ran away. Tyrrell only got 63 M dollars.

3 of the 4 sponsor invites were a thank you to the policy board for getting this deal potentially done. I agree wiht Mark, I dont think the deal is close to be done if the PGA tour is signing with or will with SSG.

AT & T Pebble before this year was a very hard tournament to fill out. The celebrities in my opinion, were hogging the spotlight too much. I know they played on the LPGA tour for example and they dont hug the spotlight. Rounds are done in typically 4 maybe 4 1/2 hours 5 if there is weather issues. The big boys hate this tournament too. It use to take 6 hour to play. If there was weather, it was closer to 9. Plus last year they had to go to Monday and reduce the celeb portion to 54 holes. I wouldnt be surprised if they have to go to Monday. They could use the Golf Channel production team if they have to. Like Mark said with the superbowl in Vegas, they would probably want to be there first thing Monday to set up things. Im surprised there is no bet of a Monday finish. I dont like the big boys with a multiple course rotation. Rory hasnt played since 2018.

SE VA golf represent Patrick! As a VT alum, Jay Hardwick can pound sand as he tended to snipe guys from all over the globe (Vincent recently, and Brendan De Jonge prior, from Zimbabwe for example) and didn't give in-state walk ons a shot. Not bitter or anything as a +3 coming out of high school in Virginia Beach…Never made the connection before, love it! Keep up the top notch content fellas

You guys are missing the point, the LIV tour has limitless money and they don't care if they are going against the PGA tour or not. Their goal is to continue to recruit more PGA players over and weaken the PGA tours star power leverage. You guys actually think LIV is worrying about how much TV coverage they losing to the PGA and the money lost? If they can sign players to multi million dollar contracts they can certainly sustain running LIV at a deficit for some time. They are in this for the long run to errode PGAs advantage and eventually become equals over time.

Pro ams r stupid. I don’t understand how the pga tour lets fat cats buy their way inside the ropes in a sanctioned event. What makes this more offensive is this takes place on such a cherry venue. Furthermore, the pga tour is unable to figure out how to get cypress point in the event. What a disaster the PGAT is, how does this organization run anything?

Considering that Kyles CBS bio literally says that he writes poetry about Rory’s golf swing…. It is literally no surprise that he’s defending Rory’s 180 and is now trying to make out that Rory’s change of mind reflects media and fans. 😂😂 speak for yourself

Rory could have happily set his stall his out on where his loyalties are and that be the end of it but he has BATHED in the righteousness of his crusade and was constant in his outspoken criticism where it wasn’t needed.

He said “F*^k You Phil” on Full Swing, he said Norman needs to exit stage left for any chance of a reunion, he said he’d retire if LIV is the only option.
And now he looks like a complete fool.

And someone made the point that everything that Phil Mickelson has said has come to pass… where is the acknowledgement of this?

Ok guys, so THIS is how Åberg is pronounced: when you say the word – all – there you have the Å-sound + when you say A, in: i Am – there you have -e (rg).

If i, as a swede, say the word – all – it sounds like ÅL (and btw, eel is ÅL in swedish :P)
And the e in -erg, sounds like ÄRG – but sometimes, like in the girl name Emma, the E sound the same as when you say the same name 🙂 (sound the same, or sounds the same?……grrrr!:D)

So, -erg in Åb-erg sounds like Ärg, but instead of Åbärg, it's Åberg. (btw: berg = mountain:)
And people here can, for example, have the name: Peter Berg, or Niklas Berg, or Peter Bergstrand (strand = beach….so Bergstrand = Mountainbeach:)

(and if you want to say Peter the way we do it, both of the E:s in Peter, is like when you, and us swedes, say E (-mma).

    E sometimes sound like E (or Ä)
    Ä sometimes sound like Ä (or E, hahahah……so it's not so easy to learn 😛 )

    Märg/benmärg (marrow/bone marrow) = the Ä sounds like Ä. (i Am)….in the A there, you have the Ä-sound)
But in Äpple (apple) the Ä sounds like Epple…..the same E-sound, like when you/we say Emma. (and in swedish, you hear both the E:s, and in the same way….."EpplE")

E (-rg) in Åberg, here the E sounds like Ä (the same sound like A in: i Am)

But often E sounds like E, as in Emma.
    Like in: Hemma (home)
    Efter (after)
    Ekorre (squirrel)

After this, none of you are allowed to pronounce the name Åberg, incorrectly!!! 😀 😀
(from now on, you only gonna say: Ludvig, just to p*** me off :P)

But if you do, it's ok – because when you say Åberg, it sounds like how a french person would say it, so it's both fun and cute sounding :)) (btw, you say in exactly the same way as for example Rex and Lav say it, so now YOU guys are the only american people that knows the correct pronunciation 🙂

Have a nice week, and thank you so much for giving us a lot of knowledge about different courses, different players strengths on all the courses + weather, and so on – you are the best pod! (almost better than P**N……ALMOST i said! :D) (watch you guys every week, but i only write tonight, because my english is maybe 3-4/10 🙁 😛

    /Ludvig-Studvig A-Game 😛

Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Dunlap going forward, but my bar for him is low. I'm rooting for him to make some cuts this season… I hope he proves me wrong, because I like the guy. Yes, he won a pga tour event, however he missed the cut the prior 3 times he played in pga tour events (to be fair he likely improved since the earlier ones). The event he won was perhaps suited to his game (an extremely unusual pga tour course), so we'll see. Another newer player has had a little more time to show his abilities…. Aberg and when it comes to him, he proved himself in an insanely short period of time, so I set a high bar and can see him being a top 10 world ranking player by the end of the season. While Dunlap won, he's a bit of an unknown variable for me at this point… I hope and he may have the talent to hit the ground running, but I hope people don't expect too much out of the kid in the beginning.
