What I'd like to see is, when one of those players get all their money from the Saudis and playing a few tournaments of theirs, is they walk away from them and say "I'm gonna try getting back into the PGA." I wonder what the Saudis are gonna do to them? After they get walked out on and not have the money returned. Could possibly say bye bye to that player, or one of his family.

I don't understand what this channel's issue is with someone getting paid $100 million dollars a year to play golf. My only reasoning for this attitude towards Jon Rahm is some kind of moralistic stance n white knight crusade against the Sovereign Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for alleged bonesaw crimes. That whole incident definitely sucked but Saudi Money can fix problems n get stuff done. Worse is done in Amerikkka to those who speak out against the government. So a few journalists get chopped up. Big deal. Big picture, Saudi Money funds lots of awesome projects (yes blah blah blah migrant worker abuse again…who cares that's the price of capitalism gotta break eggs to make gournet fois gras omelettes). Congratulations to Jon Rahm on securing the bag n never having to worry about money for the rest of his life.

My choice is that I haven’t watched a LIV Golf event.. ever.

As long as LIV keeps playing on Trump golf courses, it will be doomed. It's all money laundering anyway. Amazing the Saudis have so much green they can do this crap. Really really sad golf fans have to take this. It also shows they earn way too much money on the back of humanity and their need for energy. Something has to break with this pattern.

Actually, I like the path that seems to be developing here! PGA will develop the young players, they will achieve greatness there. Then they will move to LIV, which is the ‘exhibition’ tour, and bankrupt the Saudi royal family with these excessive paydays. Dunno about you, but I did not cease watching PGA when Tiger got wrecked out of the game by his angry wife…. I’ll continue to watch it.

I'm guessing that he was always intending to join LIV but he was stringing the PGA along because he wanted to play in the recent and what will probably end up being his last Ryder Cup before taking the Saudis filthy lucre.

Pretty hard to turn down $300mil but this guy is already a multi millionaire so it’s a pretty bad look for him. He’ll lose a lot of fans but he obviously cares more about the money. Doesn’t LIV have like Canadian Tour attendance?
