LIV need a TV outlet Worldwide, otherwise it's a very limited audience. I watch it and like it on Youtube, however the lack of media and TV coverage means Jon's great golf will go unnoticed.

LIV paid $500 for Rahm, that reduced the PGA value by X – good Saudi business. Let's see some meaningful analysis around what the PGA is actually worth – don't own players, no money from majors, reduced TV pull (lower contracts Worldwide), high paid staff, was a charity – no money war chest, committed to very high purses and PIP pools. I think the PGA tour players may be sitting on a busted flush, with no guarantees going forward.

If the players were smart, they would see Jay Monahan for what he really is – the slimiest snake oil salesman alive, whose only goal is to enrich himself. The private equity deals are all about him getting more (aka as much as possible) from professional golf than the $20 million a year he is paid as commissioner. Jay is too stupid to see that private equity, as wealthy as they are, although with just a small percentage of money as PIF, are also unlike the Saudi's in that they will not be willing to lose money just to enrich Jay or prove a point.

If the players and media like the Golf Channel and NBC had not spread the propaganda that Monahan started this could have been avoided. I'm curious to see once the deal is done how long before the Golf Channel and NBC will start talking positive about LIV and its players.

If the golf world is in turmoil, it is exclusively the fault of the PGA Tour. Through a combination of incompetence, hubris, and perfidy, they have managed to humiliate themselves, jettison sponsors, drain their own coffers, and enrich their Chariman's law firm. And let's not forget that the Golf Channel has been an obedient cheerleader through all of it.

What if all players earned OWGR points regardless of where they played. Let the top ranked play in all majors…….wait for it…..but no one gets paid for winning any of the majors. I love golf, but now I'm more inclined to watch Youtube Golf…much more entertaining.

Eamon and Brandel are cancer in the golf world, they are both just negative constantly. i thought Brandel was the most negative person on golf until Eamon came on board. he said player are not loyal to the PGA , well as a person who has worked his whole life. company's are only loyal to people when they are making money from you. if the money changes they will say it isn't personals it is business , so we will have to let you go. Just business. Eamon sits in his chair talking about things that don't affect him, unless the golf channel goes off the air.

PGA leadership was exposed. Leading a business is much easier when you don’t have competition. As soon as they faced a competing league, they collapsed under their own ego.

I only watch the PGA because LIV Golf supports the oppression of women. Just that simple. Saudi Arabia created LIV Golf and Saudi Arabia oppresses women. Golfers that play for LIV Golf obviously support oppressing women. If the KKK had a golf tour I can assure none of the LIV Golfers would play for that tour, so why do they play for a country that supports treating women as second class citizens. And the worst part is all these golfers all come free societies that treat women as equal yet support a golf tour for a country that treats women as semi slaves. Shame, shame, shame. And Jon Rahm, after Cory, was my favorite golfer. I will never watch that man again because he clearly believe women should be oppressed.

The entire WORLD of golf needs to change FOR the world and remove this Americentric focus that had been in the 20th century, is why LIV had to come along. The 3 "majors" being in the US seems so out of place when all other GLOBAL sports actually PLAY AROUND THE WORLD, including tennis, soccer, MotoGP, F1, as examples. THAT is what needs to happen with golf, and the time is now for the organisations to get together and create a WORLD TOUR based on the tennis one, with a major in 4 or 5 continents and relegate the current American system. The American entitlement to the majors system is what's wrong and if the Americans can't deal with the changes, then LIV and PIF will continue to buy up the other Tours making GLOBAL CONNECTIONS, it can also establish its own Ruling Body.
The Ryder Cup needs to go away, it is an anachronistic event based on COLONIALISM and should be erased completely if the world of golf wants to be inclusive of the Global players actually playing the game around the world.
This is a great opportunity to borrow from tennis and soccer and F1 and MotoGP and other global sports that compete against and around the world's nations.
So tired of this American focus, this American focus is what's holding everybody back

Is it me or has Golf Central changed to a comedy show? Eamon Lynch and Brandle Chamblee are comical in their delusion. Another comment by Rory, which was omitted from this excerpt (not surprisingly) was LIV “exposed” some of the flaws in the PGA Tour. More accurately, those flaws were exposed decades ago but the rise of Tiger enabled the tour to mask said flaws. What LIV did was make the tour acknowledge those flaws. Golf Central and its on-air talent still refuse to recognize that simple fact.

The shortsighted arrogance of Monaghan and the PGA board is reflected by your pundits comments the reason way the PGA tour has previously been the premier tour in the world is because it paid the largest purses, it’s events generated the most world ranking points (a biased and unfair system) it’s players gained more opportunities to access to the ‘Majors’ and their course provided the best playing conditions. Now LIV have come along and started to take away some of the PGA’s attractions it is still under the impression that players will want to return too or stay with them because they are the guardians of the game offering legacy and career satisfaction. The game doesn’t belong to anyone organisation and players career are measured by their record in the Majors not PGA events ask Montgomery, Westwood, Donald etc…..
