01:50 Rory and Tiger can still change their mind and take the money. The PGA changed their mind so the players can too

"Why does LIV 'need' to pay?" LIV is about Saudi Arabia, it's not about golf. It's a kingdom, not some free-market fantasy. And I miss Dustin and Bryson, glad you don't miss people but the PGA is meh now.

It’s sad that the best players aren’t playing against each other. Saudi interference is ruining the sport they’re trying to buy! LIV format unwatchable to me!

Brandel Chamblee still holding on to the fictitious narrative about how HOLIER than thou the PGA TOUR is, even after the PGA sold all it's players out and went behind everyone's back to make a deal with LIV. The PGA is a pimp that has been called out, HELL YEAH JOHN RAHM took the money, Pro Golf is a business, these players play to make big money. PGA has no choice now this is all gonna be unified and merged. The PGA is all about the money, what a joke they think they have some moral compass that is higher than everyone else, money can buy anyone. Only the RICH an ELITE can turn down deals like this. The PGA has been betraying players for EONS. GO RAHM!!!!!🥳 Rory is overrated and has turned out to be a GREAT disappointment since he is not taking the torch from TIGER, Rory has not WON a major in 10 years of his prime, will not go down as an all time great with only 4 majors under his belt. Wake up Brandel as smell what your shoveling man.💩 (The PGA needs the Players, the Players do not need the PGA)

You guys are so shallow. John R is the Tiger of golf in every Spanish speaking country. Before him it was Dergio. Guess what, they are both LIV players. Tiger is just a memory to most players. You guys need to wake up.

Liv Tour sucks. Golf was awesome with Tiger and it had a certain level of class and history. Now you have a clown country turning our great sport into a clown show. Why they think they can destroy our sport and people are just going to go with it is a joke.

Impossible to understand what Patrick is ranting about.
The bottom line is that LIV Golf is a different professional golf product format that has attracted many world class players to its ranks, and the best thing the PGA can hope for now is striking a long-term deal with PIF to share all revenues, all TV contracts, all trademarks, all broadcasting rights, and in exchange, get to remain a very well-funded US-based feeder tour (that would also include the Euro and PGA Champions tours) for LIV Golf.
This would mean both the PGA and LIV would get to survive long into the future, keep their current playing formats in place, and agree to never again directly compete their products against one another by staging tournaments on the same weekends head-to-head.
This would ensure fans get to see both leagues aired on an agreed annual schedule, but never both on the same weekend.

Big time players like Rahm don’t care about eventually being able to play in PGA events. They care about majors, Ryder Cup, and money.

Change and disruption often creates chaos. BUT that usually passes and often results in greater things. Give it another year or 2 and I'm confident that LIV over time will be a better product than it is now, and it WILL be the primary golf tour. Its GLOBAL, unlike the PGA. LIV is going around the world, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, USA, Mexico etc. It WILL get BIGGER and better.

Liv tour can't recreate the history of the masters of the course, Liv tour can't recreate the Pebble Beach and the history there. If you want to compete for majors, if you want to compete against tigers/Jacks majors record you have to play the PGA majors. They need 70 years to create that history.
