This fits so perfect with wat I was doing on the range today I noticed setti g up like this helped so much also though I noticed when I kept my trail elbow closer to my body on my swing through kept my ball flight dead straight

Alex, when I tilt my shoulder down I tend to hit about 6 inches behind the ball. What am I doing wrong?

Exactly what I say to my buddy's but they never listen. I have been doing that for about a year. Still won't draw or add much distance but in the fairway. Thanks

Ive been shown a similar thing but it involves moving the ball position outside the toe of the lead foot instead. Ive had some good results and made improvements with driver doing this.

This is one of the best tips for driving the ball better. Thank you Alex.

I've been breaking 90 a few times recently, and I'm playing tomorrow morning. I'm scared to incorporate this into my game , but now I've watched this I'm itching to do it 😢😂

I'm taking a slightly different path to the same destination since I started watching your tips. one thing I've added, when I take my practice swing, I want to see my club just ruffle the tips of the grass BEFORE where I would make contact. I've been hitting beautiful drives all season – and we're back to swimming weather, here, with no time to sneak out and play in our last weather break.

I have been doing this for a couple of years. My shoulders would get closed at address slightly, when I address the ball behind this way it helped big time to solve that issue and to repeat keeping my shoulder square in setup. I remember when I put the club directly behind the ball and put a stick across my shoulders they were closed moving the ball back squared it up. Thanks for your help love the tips.

I meant the club head back. It is early and I am heading to the golf course. 🙂

Sorry if I sound dense, but this seems like a recipe for topping the ball. Please tell me, what am I missing?

I've been implementing alot of the driver tips, seems like it takes me a while to implement into the swing, this is one of those changes that I'm excited to do this weekend and know I can implement immediately, can't wait!

Keep up the great vids Alex, love the channel !

I must be doing something wrong. I've been trying this for awhile and it's going straight up and 50 yards shorter. I'll keep trying

Alex you got me using this a while back from one of your previous tips. It has really reduced my miss hits aka slices. My shulder alignment towards target is much improved. And yesss driver distance and dispersion is awesome. I went from a 250ish yard average to 294!

I've been doing this since your first video on this. It has helped with distance, but hasn't really helped with accuracy. And, I still can't draw the ball. going to get a few lessons soon to hopefully help that out!

My coach just taught me this move and went and used it on the course and I was hitting it longer and straighter.

I can't wait to get out and try this. The driver is literally the only club in my bag that I struggle with hitting(slicing mainly, few hooks).

Hi Alex, another great video which i tried today. It didn't quite work for myself, but has made me realise my main problem. Im right handed, but my left hand is very dominant in my swing causing all the problems. On take away it rolls, opening the face and on downswing i pull the handle past my left hip. I can slowly swing concentrating on my right hand and all is good. My question is : do you have a drill or grip that promotes right hand dominance? Many thanks Matt.
