So, I'm 74, my plumbing doesn't work as well as it did 50 years ago and my memory isn't as good as it was, but I like the LIV, your channel BBPG, and the changes LIV is making in the golf world so maybe my "manopause" is merely being delayed?

Hey, and tell those kids to get off my lawn! 😁

One important angle you fail to recognize- PGA Tour doesn't have to pay anyone to come. Players pay everything and work their asses off to come to them.
Secondly, guys only get rich on the PGA when they win.

Joke is on LIV. They spend billions, nobody watches.

    Fred is right here, boys.

You have to really understand Fred and why he has become such a whining low T manopausal creep. Phil turning 50 was going to make a lot of senior tour players wealthy. Phil moving to that tour would have made purses 3x to 5x bigger. Big money for all. Ehhh… LIV was the move, and Phil doesn't owe these leaches anything.

Fred is completely wrong about "LIV not changing a thing"

Well Freddie: a proper off-season, higher purses, dual format, a less demanding schedule among others are considered "changing things"

You're both sadly and pathetically missing the point! Let's be honest. Jon Rahm went to LIV STRICTLY FOR THE 600 MILLION. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR ALL PRO GOLFERS IS MONEY! Don't believe any of that nonsense about loving the game and titles being the most important. You can always judge people by their actions. Rahm and other golf stars chose the LIV money over anything the PGA Tour had to offer – history, titles, fame, legacy, or loyalty. I'm happy for Rahm. How could anyone in their right mind turn down 600m! Money is the most important thing in this world for 99% of the people. They all have a price, a number, they will accept. More PGA stars will leave for LIV, I'm sure of it. This might be the end of the PGA Tour as we know it. That will be a deserving fate because of their greed and mistreatment of their players that Michelson pointed out, and because they have tried to monopolize and control pro golf. From the beginning, LIV has had a right to exist and recruit players, who of their own free will join it. Also, all of that talk about Saudi money being blood money because of the Saudi human rights violations and political murders is hypocritical nonsense. Look at the war crimes and murder the USA is supporting with Israel's murderous genocide of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, for one clear example. USA money is blood money too. We live in a world where many corporations and companies make billions of dollars off of war and murder, or off of polluting the planet with smog and chemicals which also kill people. So, all of the golf tours and professional sports are full of blood money. I don't like LIV's format or their loud music, but with all of that Saudi money involved, it is here to stay. I do think we will soon see a merger of the two tours because that will be the only way the PGA tour survives.

LIV Team golf stinks. I’ll never watch. I don’t blame anyone for taking the money. But it’s a loser. I think the PGA Tour over reacted. Plenty of great golfers will come up to replace the guys who leave. Not even the Saudi’s are going to overpay every good golfer. LIV is subsidized. In baseball you get paid what a team thinks you’re worth economically to the team. That ain’t LIV – no one’s watching it

The problem people have with LIV is NOT the money. It's the lying about the reason. If they all just said they left to get more money nobody would care. But instead they all lie about it. People don't like liars. Hope this helps you understand the situation a bit more.

LIV is an unwatchable inferior product and the numbers bear that out. Freddie's right! Principal's matter! PIF is nefarious! LIV is horrible!

I not a big fan of golf these days on the PGA tour but I am even less of a fan of the changes Liv is making to the final product. 3 day events, shotgun starts, wearing shorts, music blaring and team play? These changes makes a pro event feel like a golf outing at my local club. I am for the players making as much money as they can get and that's not a problem and shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Another problem with the PGA tour is that some of the elite players have an ulterior financial motive when they differ all their prize money into their pension with the PGA tour and live off their sponsor money, they can't afford for the tour to fail or they would likely feel differently about the financial incentive on Liv.

Great discussion. These PGA pros should keep their comments to themselves as their speaking fees are dumbing downward like their game. Sounds like pure jealousy.
How many of us left an employer for more money or better health insurance. Guess the PGA should have taken the meeting with Greg. Go LIV!

I think LIV is a great option for the players. 54 hole tournaments with no cut, guaranteed money and home on Sundays. 🤔🧐 sounds like a win win situation to me. Oh, and you still may get the chance to play in the Majors… J Day, A Scott, Speith, JT, and a few others should seriously consider taking the money.

The reason players aspired to play in the USA from other countries was because the uspga screwed countries like Australia, destroyed their tours and wanted a monopoly. Now there’s an option which allows players to have 6-8 weeks at home over Xmas. Count the number of non American players playing LIV, for them it’s a better option.

Grown up men I shorts playing 52 holes without a cut and where the last looser gets millions, well that's not sport in any sense of the word; that's a greenwashing circus for the "I got no ethics bur loves money no matter what"-types.". Pathetic.

Amateur = no prize $ but all kinds of support, both in kind as well as per diem. Professional = paid (more) to play (well). Name a monopoly that welcomed outside competition or influence or innovation…. Fealty is something that vassals owe to their liege Lord. The only game in town ensured that. LIV has provided an alternative, that is all.
