The team aspect of LIV golf is dead in the water I’m afraid to say – the accumulated arbitrary score and result of 4 golfers playing on different parts of the course without the possibility of interacting and helping each other while playing because of shotgun starts there are no active partnerships occurring during live play which is the very essence and definition of team sports. So no the future of LIV golf as a team event is bleak without changes. Right now as it stands it’s kind of silly and forced!!

I know everyone is saying it, but I like that young man Caleb, a lot. Humble, confident, surrounded by an amazing supporting network and team. This may catapult him to quite a lot of success, his golf after that triple bogey was beyond impressive.

It also took courage to accept the opportunity that was extended to him by LIV, and paid off the first week. Sports are still the best!

This kid Caleb has to be the luckiest freaking guy both in the golf aspect and definitely in the money. He is obviously an incredible player and would of probably done well despite the circumstances but it is so hard to break even after the expenses on the PGA tour your first year and that's already banking that he made it through q school and made worth from sponsors exemption. Now he probably made more than most the tour players did in their whole career and gets an education from Jon. Not hating, just jealous.

Hatton $50m in bank. Rahm $500m in bank. They dont care, they have the cash. The golf is an exhibition. The other 2 are nobodies. Liv makes golf a joke

The only thing about teams is it’s not like they’re helping each other a ton… at the end of the day it’s you who’s hitting the golf ball. I guess they could do group lessons, idk. It’s cool but does feel a little corny.

Caleb may only be 19, but he's already shown that he's mature beyond his years. A nice young man with a good head on his shoulders & plenty of talent

Caleb really showed that he has world-potential with the way he recovered from the triple bogey. Most golfers, even most pros don't have it in them to bear down and pull themselves together like he did. He legitimately fell apart for two minutes, fixed it on the walk to the next tee box, then made 5 straight birdies. His contribution was a big part of the reason that the team was able to surge ahead on Sunday, it wasn't until later on in the day that Hatton and Rahm started to gain more strokes. Caleb's consistent play on Sunday acted like a ballast that kept their score steady through the day, and even when it looked like he would be the reason they lost the title shot he bucked up and put himself together.

I don't know if this is actually true or not as I haven't checked, but I think this might be the only team where all four players have different accents!

I don't usually enjoy pressers but I thought that these four fellas came across as decent guys and I think they'll be fun to follow.

Hats off to Caleb Surratt. The way he bounced back from the 4-putt Sunday was phenomenal. He came across as a very mature young man.
