After having been to the last two Ryder Cups in Europe. That’s golf a experience that you will never forget, LIV has copied that format and now everyone knows The PGA Tour cannot. It is now in the hands of the Majors …🎉🎉❤😂

I hate that Rahm is going to LIV, but it is not like it will affect anything. Rahm will not add anymore eyes to their abysmal ratings.

It’s time for the two tours to resolve all of these issues so that fans can enjoy watching the best players in the world compete against one another. Trying to simply destroy the reputation of players on the LIV Tour has failed miserably.

i dont blame these players. just make sure their legacy is that they killed golf for money. the saudi money will never dry up as long as they are trying to buy and integrate into western society.
It will never be what pga tour was, ever. if every major player goes to liv, ratings will still be poor over here and a money loser for saudi for sure, but they wont care. pga has some blame for sure but they never ever could have competed with these crazy balloon contracts.

    Awesome contributions as always.

This whole negotiation reminds me of the albatross at our course during mating season. They get up all on each others faces doing these scary gyrations looking like they are going to shank their partner in the face with their beak…but in the end they get it on.

The Masters is the only tournament I will watch, and I don't care who is playing in it. The Masters is the only golf tournament I have watched the last 13 years. Golf is a joke with all these money hungry idiots. Same as NFL, NBA, MLB. These 3 have won the vote for being American's biggest waste of time. Just my expert opinion.

Isn’t it funny that the highest offer to a golfer to join LIV comes when alternative sponsors to make a deal with the PGA are on the horizon, which would offer an alternative to the LIV. sports washing of their money is a priority for the Saudis and therefore money is no problem for their regime. Unfortunately the amount of money on the table makes it hard for golfers to adhere to their principles. Whilst understandable it doesn’t make it right. Stand up and say it’s the money. Not varied other goals. Phil has never been right especially in this case and no more so when he publicly trashed Tom Watson after the Ryder cup. Low class no class.

Love golf, have worked in many different capacities…… don’t watch Ryder Cup due to fake patriotism and team concept over an EXHIBITION….. majors are the bell cow . Watching players play is the thing …..LIV is HORRIBLE for golf and society as a whole. This money grab gives a bad look to sport that was implementing inclusion…..now it's a joke ….. signed , salty old guy

I have been seriously involved with golf for 58 years and I have not watched one second of LIV Golf. The only people who care about LIV are the players who jumped, their families and friends. LIV Golf is relevant only to them because of the insane money the Saudis gave them. The PGA Tour was founded on April. 10, 1916, so it has been around for 107 years. Its tournaments have great history and meaning to all serious golfers in the U. S. and to a lesser extent, those abroad. The four Majors are highly coveted events and LIV golfers can play in them. The LIV TV ratings and live attendance are microscopic. Why – because LIV Golf has no meaning, as I’ve previously stated. I don’t fault the players who jumped, because the money was generational. Even if the top 50 players in the world joined LIV, I would have “ZERO” interest in it!

It really is coming down to the fact that the players that I actually want to see and follow (with a few exceptions, of course) are playing on the LIV.

Another great segment Big Boy Bro! Appreciated your guest, Bob. Also I concur with a fellow commenter, Gregory Bolin who suggested pitting both the PGAT guys against the LIV guys in competitions. That reminded of football back in the day when you had two separate leagues, the AFL and the NFL and the way they’re competing today. Maybe something along those lines! That would be way better than what Tiger,Rory and PGAT Board came up with, in their video game type golf competition,in my opinion. Also very much appreciate the shorter episodes! Keep up the good vibes BBPsG! Mahalo from Kauai!!

Rahm's win at the Masters secured him spots in the next several majors. He no longer needs those WGR points and is free to collect all that LIV money. I hope he takes it.

IMO, the PGA Tour ignored the Golden Rule in business: "He who has the gold, makes the rules." This should have been obvious from the start of LIV but, instead, there was much denial and much bile spewed from the PGAT towards the LIV. I'd recount several instances of Jay Monahan and Tour players like Rory and Horschel saying insultingly ignorant things. but it's all been heard before. Now, it's crunch time. The PIF and Al-Rumayyan are pressing the issue now with BIG $$$s and if/when Rahm and several others bail on the PGAT, the 2024 PGAT season will be in really bad shape, almost to the point of irrelevancy. I hope that some middle ground can be found for both the PGAT and the LIV but I'm not optimistic at this time.
    BTW, another great video, BBPG.

If the players agree to merge they went full circle back to the rainbow unethical rip scam that plagued them for years! There is not legit reason to approve a merger if the players really have a say in it! Once again Monahan dictates without consulting players " we wont roll back ball" yet Rory appears to favor rollback! Taxation without representation😁😔😔😔

You know what’s wrong with the PGA , they talk about exhibition golf and then all the players in a 20 person no cut weekend and everyone gets world golf points including someone who hasn’t played since the Masters . Oh please pga is not what it once was GONE are Arnie, Jack, and Lee Trevino! Too bad too sad!

Just to put things into perspective, Jon Rahm's $400+ million contract is peanuts compared to the $20+ billion annual estimated value of Global Golf. I'm very surprised that the PGA Tour seems to have not secured an agreement with PIF as yet. This whole thing seems to feel like a warning move from PIF so that an agreement can be reached.

Well it came true, Rahm to LIV and death blow to Jay the 2 faced Monahan. This should expedite his departure from the PGA Exec role and turn the page on one of the most mismanaged episodes in PGA history. This was the next shoe to drop, I think we will see some other names in the top 25 of the PGA tour announce shortly. Merry Christmas PGA.

In addition Dean Burmester, Joaquin Niemann, and Louis Oosthuizen won tournaments on the DP World Tour recently. This year Abraham Ancer, David Puig and Eugenio Chacarra won on the Asia Tour. Without the LIV Tour these players probably would not have played in these tournaments.

Liv has no business platform. It is a government loosing a lot of money to clean there image. Its true the pga tour doesn't own the golfers but the Saudis DO own them. They took the payoff the way judges or cops take the payoff from gangters. Now the saudi goons own them and the only way out is a meeting with a bone saw.Saudis took over a beloved national treasure. All these golfers will follow the saudi murderers all the way to the gates of hell. But the hundreds of millions of dollars they took cant buy there souls back.
