I met Jon @ a small art gallery opening in Wailea a few weeks ago. His beautiful wife was there but the surprising person to see was PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan with him!

    Jon was super friendly.

I've been to PGA events and attended a LIV event in Tuscon. I will say that watching the LIV event was a big let down in my opinion as every golfer was on the course at the same time. You were able to watch them for one hole and that was it. Four hours later, you were on the bus headed home. In addition, the competitive environment did not seem to exist. Those playing well that week were into it, those not playing well just finished the round and moved on. It would be nice to have a happy medium between to the two leagues as a spectator.

Let’s get some guests who deny Saudi atrocities on the show for money. Pat would be pro 9/11 for a dollar

I would Like to thank Phil for making Lefties golf clubs easier to find and come across instead of going to some closet in the back of the store

Phil is joke. Nobody is watching LIV golf. Nobody cares about it. He's told what to say. He's a paid actor to show up and play sh*ty golf.

All this "global" corporate sponsored reach across the board does is take jobs away from the U.S. More tournaments will go out of country, more players from other countries will have more opportunities (we already see that in the LPGA), more profit from manufacturing of sports equipment, because Corporations will get the best bang for their buck in other countries. You always have to beware when you hear Rich men talk about "providing opportunities"……….All I hear is "providing opportunities to further line their pockets", the team owners will have the first opportunity to capitalize off someone else's hard work. I thought that was something Phil hated about the PGA?

Phil's sole motivation is money. His gambling issues have led to his focus being on money over anything else. Caving to Saudi interests because you will make more money is so lame. You are rich to begin with. Don't excuse choices because of "family" as many have… people need to be honest and just accept the backlash for selling out.

Great point Phil ! I still haven’t washed my hand when you fist bumped me on the 9th hole going to the 10th tee at Riviera in Pacific Palisades, my wife is still jelly I won’t let her touch that hand.

Why do I, as an American consumer care if professional golfers make money from Singapore? Making the product worse here so it's better in Turkey doesn't interest me. I couldn't care less about some young Japanese kid getting an opportunity on Phil's "team." This might be great for the global good, but it makes the American (you know…that place that has grown the PGA Tour) product far worse

There's zero tradition and therefore little interest which has any depth. Superficial rah-rah, trash talking crap won't last. Lots of money from terrorist supporters aside, the lure of sports is as much nostalgia as action and LIV is about the players, not the fans and will never take off until fans are enticed to care beyond the exhibition of it. LIV is the Ice Capades

Everyone knows that Phil Mickelson justified his view from the beginning! His humility towards Rory McIlroy demonstrates his maturity and deep experience of this topic.

What’s funny, nobody ever says anything about Rory not playing in Sentry opening event on tour. Because the next week he’s playing over in Saudi Arabia…..he plays in that event because he’s getting a massive appearance fee, which is guaranteed money, probably more than he could have made at the Sentry for winning. 🤷‍♂️ no brainer for me. I’m a Rory fan, but for him to ever say anything about players going to LIV or any of the other player that has ever taken appearance money there all being hypocrites!
