Let us get things straight here. What drives the PGA Tour. The answer is the sponsors and the volunteers. PGA events have volunteers driven by some key businesses in the city where the event is. These volunteers provide about 250,000 hours of unpaid labour. You get a ticket for 16 hours work and a sandwich and a drink for each shift. This unpaid labour at minimum wage is woth over $2.5m. The companies get to take a charity / public service break. Especially banks Without this labour the events would not be successful. Who is going to volunteer at LIV events? How much did LIV give to charity compared to the PGA? I am glad Rahm has been suspended from the PGA what happens to the guy who gets kicked out to make room for Rahm?

PGA’s good old boy network is over. You wood have to be a fool not go. Tiger can’t get a dime, because he can’t compete anymore. His son will be next, if he can win!

Fact of the matter is the PGA tour is dead, dying. At some point these guys need to admit that and the golf channel needs to show LIV highlights. All those rounds after rounds on a PGA tour is going to cause back pain for younger players who are swinging faster and faster like a pitcher in baseball. By LIV having less rounds and more money gives players longevity and a longer career in golf by allowing players more rest time.

PGA Tour was set up by Jack and Arnie , now it needs Tiger to take over at the top , to save Golf , competition is Sport , 3 day celeb golf is not golf at the highest level, just look how many cities here in America is scheduled for Liv golf events, they need to be banned from playing in America, that would end them , our politicians are in bed with Saudi, let’s ban this shite!!

Jon made a great decision. I would have done the same. PGA golf analysts are just whiners. McElroy is leaving next.

Liv is a circus, and the golfers are circus performers, rich performers. Each week the circus moves to a different location and they perform. And we are suppose to ooh and ah them as they try to win a new tee shirt or baseball cap! Their skill are eroding and they are not contenders for any world championship bout! They are circus performers. I have not and will not waste one second of my time ooh and ahing them! Are any of those arrogant and rich idiots building a St Judes hospital. Of course not! Bow down to me because I am so rich!! They are all disgusting!! Circus performers!!

Pretty much all the Talking Heads in sports are hypocritical and full of Doodoo.

Your headline that says John Ron sold out his career, what a freaking hypocritical sentence, these boys have a little white golf ball for a living that’s what they do. They have a finite number of years to try and make a living for themselves. I don’t hear Buddy complaining when Steph Curry gets paid $50 million a year before he plays or LeBron James, or any of those fellas I’m here but he complaining that Shohei Ohtani is getting paid $700 million over 10 years he’s the show so it’s completely hypocritical Bolshevik. on the part of commentators to say oh, we need to be true to the game what the hell does that even mean true to the game? Oh, you mean don’t cheat where are the clubs and balls and everything these days is all cheating let’s go back to Hickory shafts, and a Gouda purcha ball and see how the boys play.
Some of these commentators are simply pissed off, that nobody ever offered them that kind of money because they were never that good

What person is not going to take half a billion dollars if it is offered to you? I guarantee that there will be many more players to leave the PGA in the future.

Jon Rahm absolutely did the correct thing. No one in their right mind would turn down 600 million dollars just to play golf. Rahm can make some good investments and buy some good businesses and become a billionaire in a few years. That's what Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Tiger Woods have done. I don't think any of these people who are criticizing Rahm would turn down that kind of money! As far as the Saudis being murderers and the money being blood money, USA corporations and businesses that compose the Military Industrial Complex have contributed to the killing of millions of people around the world in unjustified wars recently. There's no difference there. Rahm is rich beyond his dreams and will get richer. How many of you don't want to be rich? LOL

I cant wait until the Golf Channel sheds this clown! Chamblee is an idiot! Why would anyone not take that deal who is actually more committed to the future and legacy of his family! Particularly given the history of player complaints going ignored and silenced by the PGA Tour for decades.

    Wrong wrong wrong.
The PGA should never have made any deals with Liv.
    Liv will never stop taking.
    Money and power corrupts everything.

    Liv is destroying the PGA.
Jack and Tigers records will mean nothing in the future.

The PGA deserves this. They aren’t true to their players. They’ve been screwing their players for years. It’s just like switching jobs for more money.

of course Chamblee would take this stance.. he is anti LIV. i enjoy golf but let these guys play where ever the hell they want. they are making way more than most of us. if i was offered $400 million to change jobs, why wouldn't I. i am thinking of taking care of those around me and if I could, i would. as for PIF, the PGA Tour is already in bed with sponsors that do business with the Saudi's. and the PGA is being hypocritical by taking this stance. i don't really watch golf anyway, even if I play. i rather watch NFL and college basketball anyway.
