I'm no expert but someone with Nike seriously dropped the ball with selling Nike/Tiger product. How is TW Nike golf apparel not everywhere and bigger than anything??? I was always looking for it at the big golf chains and there was always next to nothing. And what there was, was generally overpriced and ugly. It just doesn't make sense. But hey, good for Tiger on that one! Had to be some of the easiest 50M a year ever made in sport!

Tigers Wood rarely plays golf, why should nike still pay him? Dillon Mullaney dancing around in a nike sports bra like a little girl didn't help with earnings. Also Colin Kaepernick being un-American and getting black balled from the NFL surely wasn't profitable for nike.

It will be interesting to see if Tiger uses sweat shops and child labour in India the same as the many contractors used by Nike.

Tiger will sign with Greyson for a percentage of ownership, he and JT are super close so it makes sense. Federer left Nike for a 3% stake in On running right before they hit big and is laughing all the way to the bank. The golf apparel landscape is changing, Nike and Adidas are getting their heels nipped at by boutique brands that are producing great looking clothes that serve multiple functions rather than just being “on course” wear.

Nike would still be a huge golf name if they had hired Japanese club designers and given people quality forgings right from the start. Instead, only the top Nike pros were using Endo, and Miura Nike forgings. Then they went off in a weird direction toward the end.
Even Mizuno dropped the blue wood lines, but Nike it was a good thing.
Nike also lost track with real runners, and were overtaken by Asics, then Adidas.
Plus, many conservatives play golf and Nike wokeness turned over half the golfers away.
Nike just makes poor decisions in the last 20 years.

Tiger's ability to play COMPETITIVE golf has been severely diminished. Personally, I lost all respect for the man after cheating on his wife with porn stars, crashing a car while under meds, and trashing Phil and other players for their outspokeness concerning the PGA and its management and payroll to non-players.
Tiger continues to suck up to the wrong people and making poor decisions.
Nike as a brand, arent gonna sit here and continue paying him what they pay, without seeing a return on investment. I dont know anyone that wears TW or Nike apparel, and I will never wear their stuff or use their gear. They use child labor and pay pennies on the dollar. Look it up. Facts. I will keep wearing and using AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS such as FOOTJOY and TAYLORMADE. Yes, theyre expensive, but they employ AMERICANS and that means more to me than anything.

Must be tough not having to buy your own ordinary trousers and polo shirts. If Nike can't be bothered to buy him some Footjoys and put them into a custom shop to make them look like theirs then yep, time to dump them. I'm sure UniQlo will snap him and Rory up just like they did with Roger Federer and Djokovic etc.

Nike offered Koepka “$2 Billion” for his LIV Team, sooooo I’m guessing Woods is looking for Moe money. So Maybe guys going to LIV for the money isn’t any different than Woods holding Nike hostage for……..More Money.

Is Nike becoming a dinosaur, gone but not forgotten, like Bud Light, Target, Disney, Marvel. PGAT, and so many more? Once you reject the US market and openly express you really are a China Company and have a primary relationship with China which comes first ………………………….. everyone gets it. The danger of modern day liberalism is self evident.

I have wide feet, and NO Nike shoes that I ever tried on in the 1970's, 1980's, or 1990's ever fit my feet as comfortably as did New Balance shoes. I am speaking about tennis shoes, running shoes, and general outdoors oriented shoes, NOT basketball shoes. I used to listen to all the excuses that the shoe store employees handed me, but what it meant was that NIKE had decided, for whatever corporate reasons that they had, to JUST IGNORE a significant portion of the male shoe market in favor of those professional and amateur runners who had narrow to normal width feet. Once NIKE embraced WOKE ideology, that was the final nail in the coffin for me, and made any future decisions regarding athletic shoes and clothing easier. Just another American company that lost any potential loyalty from me because they have chosen the side of lies over truth by pandering to the cult of transgenderism.

Nike is so fk’d that they offered Koepka “$2 Billion” for his LIV Team. Doesn’t sound like a fk’d company to me. Sounds more like a company moving on from the Tour and their so called players.
