everybody who plays for an organization gets paid. football, baskeball, tennis, all of them. the pga is the only one that gets paid for holding tournaments and the players do NOT get paid unless they make the weekend. Their should be a minimum paid to every player that plays in the pga.

Those that don't know, LIV is basically paying 10X what the PGA tour was paying at the time they came in looking to make a mark against The PGA, and having it look like it's 'growing' the sport. BS. It's a coverup for the BS that SA does day in and day out. Phil said it himself. LIV has paid players millions to join, and some of them shoot in the 80s even, and still collect a huge check, or team etc.. It's not a horrible league, but it's like Canadian Football, with Canada paying players 10x to go there. Why would you NOT go? Well, it's complicated. You give up sponsors maybe; maybe you don't think the next newspaper reporter should be killed, maybe you'll go to LIV, and get kicked off etc….who knows. You can't qualify for LIV. Tiger in his prime could show up to a tournament on LIV, and he would not even be able to play. The PGA Tour has Monday qualifying, a jr. league, other leagues in fact, and Q School. I just think LIV is insane money, and I can't see how anybody has said no if they've been offered the kind of money they're talking about. Rahm got a reported $400–$500 million. Tom Brady made $30m with Tampa, and won a superbowl. Geez.
When I go golfing today 90% of the younger golfers I see are complete douches. No class, no etiquette, no common sense, no common sense whatsoever. They are posers, playing the back tees, using $2000 clubs, and shooting 95 to 105. They don't have enough sense to even know what a simple through line is. Golf is on its way downhill IMO. I have broke 70 many times and still today at an advanced age shoot mid to high 70's. It's pitiful watching these people destroy golf.
Listen I met lefty twice in Ireland, he is a great man, very polite, but I hate LIV golf , it’s not real golf , it’s a pro am , it goes against the Royal and Ancient traditions, its bastardize the game, Golf is not a sport when there no desperation to play well , The players should not dictate sport , when they do , it will become about money , there no competition in LIV , no tradition , it’s like the Super League that failed in Football, where it tried to destroy the Champions League, the biggest thing , it’s owned by a country of Saudi, there no way it will develop grassroots, unless the players donate half there salary, one more thing, there joking to avoid paying taxes in America and Europe, this guys are Anti American!! Phil did more for golf than anyone since Arnold Palmer, he knew the pga was lying and misleading the players but too many guys had their heads in the sand. The pga lied and attacked Phil but people are starting to wakeup and realize Phil was right the whole time.
