Get this over and done with already
This reminds me of the last 2 minutes of a basketball game, foul/free throws/time out/three pointer/video review/commercials and very little substance

what do u expect from an organization run by a ceo that plays himself in excess of18 million dollars per annum when they are going backwards, he tried to stop individuals from taking saudi money than took it himself there always has been questions asked about how the pga tour is run now we know it's a non profit organization that makes a few individuals alot of wealth except if u are a member playing golf every week and not making the cut

    Poach em all!
That really feels like the fastest way to a resolution.
This way most of the top players get some Signing money.
Then the pga tour begs the players come back as often or as little as they want to play their signature events, and if Tour leaders says ‘pretty please’ possibly their hometown events.

It amuses me that Lav continues to believe the PGAT are the honourable negotiating body here. Suggesting that PIF are acting in bad faith by poaching players while still negotiating. I guess Lav would also view the PGAT negotiating with other private equity during the same period as nothing other than good faith. Lav – your bias is just so obvious and provides unending amusement. I just can't wait for you to really throw your toys out of the cot when the final outcome occurs.

Which planet are these guys living on? Of course PIF will apply pressure! It seems political interference could place the future of the entire PGA Tour at risk. They need to finalise an agreement with PIF fast, otherwise even more players will be approaching LIV Golf, the poaching will end as the demand to join LIV Golf will be high! All eyes are on the leading executives of the PGA Tour.

There's is a fundamental difference between how PGA is sponsored and how LIV is sponsored.

All companies sponsoring PGA are responsible to their shareholders while LIV is mainly sponsored by PIF, Saudi's free oil money responsible to none.

If PIF becomes a company listed in the stock exchange floating shares to the public, then there shouldn't be any problem.

For years, I've defended golf to doubters who didn't see golf as a real sport. If the PGA becomes like LIV, then I have little or no defense left. NFL football players, NBA basketball and even MLB players need guaranteed contracts because in their sports, on any play, your career can end, especially in the NFL. Come on, Golf, really, it's still played by guys who could never make the minor league of real sports. Athletes, really, some of the best golfers who ever played had beer guts, and many still do, or they at least look that way. Okay, Bruce lifts weights, wow. I can guarantee the smallest nfl player can lift more and can run 100 yards in 10 seconds. That's an athlete. I'm not against these guys making big money, but changing the way the PGA plays tournaments will destroy the game. Who wants to watch a bunch of guys with guaranteed contracts for millions, play tournaments for millions in shorts, and unshaven looking like there are on vacation. Then the main focus is teams, really, team golf, boring. Like I said, I'm not against paying golfers big money, but changing the format of how PGA tournaments are played will be the end of true competition in golf and destroy its legacy. I've been wrong about things before, so maybe it will grow the game like they say they want. But not for me, I'd rather watch utube of the former greats winning real tournaments than watch LIV. Of course, if LIV changed their format for tournaments like the PGA, it might change my mind some. But they won't, and they can't because it's part of what they promised the players who went to LIV. Play less and make lots more with little or no stress and little or no excitement, boring!
