I'm a Stingers supporter merely for the fact that they are South African players . I always look for their names first. I always want them to win the team comp. Exactly the same as you guys supporting Man u or Liverpool. I'm proud of the South African players and Stingers GC. That's why I love LIV

Hate all the loudmouth shit-talking "you wanna fucking go bro?" chumps on the golf course since LIV has come around, honestly.

So Rahm gives his reasons and you just say dont believe him – why bother covering it if you then just ignore what he is saying. Golf has massively been focussed on USA and a bit in Europe – the world is a much bigger place and LIV is tapping in to that market which is huge

Soon the PGA will be deemed a feeder tour just like DP is to PGA, and a big part of me is happy about that! PGA are way too controlling, simple facts! Having competition is the best way of golf as a whole growing and the PGA dont like the idea of not being number 1!

i think you are so right just like tennis it will be only the majors that matter unless the pif get what they want and is a merger or the pga tour to be come inward and matter to americans only unfortunately it is affecting golf and ground level top
golf is the way forward for the younger generation but we recently wanted to go to top golf to get some family together before christmas and they wanted 600 pound that's ridiculous

I just think everyone that has gone to LIV has been dishonest publicly about why they have gone. This grow the game crap is absolutely ridiculous. Money is the only reason but I'm sure they can't say that due to something in their contracts. Rahm actually sounded rather creepy as he talked about why he left, and the fact that is on record that he felt the exact opposite of what he said in the Fox interview makes it even more so. It's all just money.

The irony 'rick doesn't like how much money's in pro golf' but wants us to watch his video's all relating to golf so he makes more money 😂

Never watch LIV golf, watched about 15 minutes early on, 2nd event I think, i don't enjoy the format. Enjoyed Freddie Couples "my a-s" comment on Rahm when people talked about all the BS reasons for going there, its all about money! Go and have a look at the entire Freddie Couples comment, its on lots of social media platforms and an excellent piece.

The ball roll back is a crock of sh__…. Changing the rules for less than 1% of all golfers (the Pro's… technically, only the men (not on the senior tour), is a joke. The game is hard enough as it is. In any other sport or way of life, we embrace technology, we don't hold it back. Being in manufacturing all my life, the cost for the OEM's to make different balls for the Pro's is just not practical so make everyone suffer for less than 1% of all players??? Just ignorant.

I believe pro golf is at a crossroads. The PGA Tour coverage has become boring and stale. It's full of ad breaks, time filling in the studio, or talking whilst showing a picture of the leaderboard. It has become a bore fest, the only coverage I enjoy is the Rolex hour with no ad breaks but it's still full of boring commentators. LIV has a few ideas I like, I yhink the shotgun start is awesome. It means I could set aside 4 hours and watch EVERYBODIES round. The 54 hole thing is wrong though, any ranking event in golf pro or amateur is 72 holes. Hopefully, the PGA Tour, PIF merger, goes ahead and gives the game the modernisation it needs and it becomes a spectacle worth tuning into again. At the moment, I watch more YouTube golf content, then I do pga tour & LIV combined.

If the PGA / PIF merger doesn't go well and LIV decides to introduce 4 new world majors of their own, then this could be a threat to the history of the game but also help grow the game at the same time, as they could be more spread around the globe on some great courses… trump turnbery or Aberdeen for their UK major, a major in the southern hemisphere, a European based major and one in the US. With a Major winners team and singles event in Saudi as the final event of the year.

Regarding rolling back the ball, now there are going to be "pre-roll back" versions of the ProV1 that are sold almost as a black market ball. But regarding the equipment, it's the same as when they got rid of square grooves.

I love how all these people talk about blood money and act like their country has never spilled any… there is no country on this planet that has not done something wrong. Dont blame the man for taking the money. If someone offered you that kind of money thats a burden you would carry to change the way of life for future generations of your family. So get off your high horses!

Good pickup on the golf ball saga and making the new balls more environmentally friendly. What about the environmental impact of discarding what must be billions of balls?

It’s the kids that will get into the team format of LIV! That’s where LIV can grow the game..most kids find normal golf boring but team aspect may draw them in..

3 wins on the European Tour by LIV Golfers in the last three weeks. Soon other players will be joining. Maybe Rory too soon. Whats wrong in making decisions based on financial objectives. Who has objected to Tiger earning millions from the PGA tour. Look at the PIP ratings. Tiger is ranked second in spite of being a no show. Lower ranked players are mad at this crap. PGA tour paying Jay Monahan 14 Mil as CEO. PGA Tour needs to get its **it together otherwise the Tour will lose its significance. No one is interested in watching weekly PGA tournaments.

If Jon Rahm wants to grow the game why doesn't he pick 50 course in Spain or elsewhere and offer to pay the subs for 50 juniors aged 14 to 18. Will hardly make a dent on his £450m.

All of this is only pushing me more and more to watch YouTube Golf. We talk about Rahm and LIV changing the game, but that's not the case. To me, Rick Shiels, Peter Finch, Good Good, Bryan Bros, etc. are the ones changing the game. They are the ones making it fun. There's no care in the world about money, its only about having fun while playing golf. All of this divide in the pros is only killing my interest in tournaments, aside from majors and the Ryder Cup. And I'm not one I would consider an average fan.

9:00 the only reason we know their names is from what they've accomplished on the PGA Tour. LIV doesn't build stars. They just buy them.
