All the cameras on a golf game and not one camera caught the ball?? Wow.

Rory has done the correct thing. Ultimately it is up to the player, in a situation like this where no one saw precisely where the ball crossed the margin, to make the determination where he believes the ball crossed the margin of the penalty area.

Eight minutes and 24 seconds of total BS and a waste of time. I stopped watching at one minute three seconds.

There is a Technical Match Official in every game nowadays with all the video and technology, surely these officials prancing around the course with giant mics can phone into a central video room for an official to confirm what he sees on the screen and this could just take a second. Behoves me that chaps are operating like its 1974.

I'm not a great fan of Rory after the way he behaved regarding/towards Live players, but Hovland and Spieth were in the wrong, and appeared to be intervening without any accuracy to their claims. Not the first time.

3:39 Jordan keeps saying half sentences like "ppl on the tee they were certain, that's why I thought, so hey should we check… Slow down little girl "they who tf? Was "certain" of what exactly? What exactly are you saying should "we" check, and who is "we?" Quit wasting our time. The ball bounced 3 feet high it was past the red line there's ppl waiting behind AND now they're yelling at us to get moving.

Neither victor or Jordan saw it bounce so they can't "protect the field" they can only waste time speculating. Playing telephone with a rumor that some people back on the tee said something… Not helpful and not protecting the field. Did you see it jump 3 feet high Jordan? Victor? No no. Well I did. Go back over there and protect your nutz

This entire episode is neither interesting nor attracts the casual sports fan to the GAME of golf. If nobody from the media or course officials states otherwise, the player needs to make the most appropriate decision and move forward. Aren't certain pros concerned about pace of play here? I don't know that Spieth has any business being in this conversation. So what is he trying to accomplish other than auditioning for law school? 😵‍💫

Neither Jordan or Viktor could say for certain where the ball landed, which lead to 8 minutes of irrelevant speculation.

I’ve played TPC at Sawgrass multiple times. There’s absolutely no way that ball bounces that high by the hazard line. It’s extremely steep over there at the 7th hole

bad on the golf event for failing to have a camera in position to resolve this more quickly. Based on the footage available, the ball landed and crossed close enough to where Rory dropped, this shouldn't have been an issue. I recommend Spieth focus more on his game. His claim that everyone saw it (but him) was ridiculous.
