To give you an idea how good that 63 was, most low handicappers might tie him given a stroke a hole! IMHO an 81 is a decent score on this course for any 7-9 HCP! The great last shot would take 3 strokes for most golfers! As the commentator said…"would be easy to leave it high on the fringe"…and probably 2 more strokes from there!

I just hope he doesn’t fall flat tomorrow. I love Rory, but he’s had the tendency to shoot himself into contention and then to shoot himself in the foot. He should have won last week except for those two holes on the closing stretch.
Rory's only real weakness is between his ears. When he's on his A game he's actually unbeatable.

I am NOT a fan of Rory McIlroy because he has made SOOOO many off course, off course blunders I just gave up. BUT, if he can start saying NO to the empty requests of every nobody and commit himself to his wife and child and his game, ie his ACTUAL responsibilities he will win the MASTERS and then the flood gates will open. He could potentially do what he could have, should have done in the last ten years in maybe five. Including a Grand Slam, not a career GS but all 4 in one year, he is that good. And as a non fan, I would be happy to see that happen. Good on ya mate
Great player, but Rory is a bit of a bottler/choker. He always seems to flounder in at least one or two rounds of a tournament.
