I read the other day that this mess is simply turning more and more fans off golf (at least at the pro level). Kind of makes sense if you think about it. Which might just mean a significant drop (over time) of people watching…which would mean of course, issues with sponsors…etc…

mcllroy is a complete hypocrite- with the amount of money he has, he is in a perfect position to stand up for his" principles" – he could even afford to retire and make a major statement to the sport and his peers – but no, he doesnt have any principles- all he cares about is fucking money-( although perhaps we shouldnt be surprised ,as this is the bloke who didnt have the decency to call off his engagement to caroline woznacki in a proper manner but informed her by text )- if anybody else had done this, , they would have been slammed by all and sundry but for some reason mcllroy gets a free pass- i have no idea why- at the end of the day he has been proved to be a flash in the pan with his record in the majors over the past 10 years or so

PGA players losing sponsors so why wouldn't they play bigger paycheck events. These guys living a high life so upkeep would need more money and also LIV pays for signatures.
