"I hate LIV, like, I hate LIV!…I wish it would just go away". Rory 2023.

Is Rory wondering what a good deal Jon got, and maybe the same money on the table for him, how would he eat the criticism if he was to jump across to LIV golf also. I wonder deep down is he regretting his earlier stance on the LIV outfit, and his loyalty to the PGA, who basically crapped on the players by negotiating a LIV deal without their prior knowledge.

I think he is a great ambassador for the game of golf and that he was betrayed by the PGA. Why shouldn’t he soften his stance. He sacrificed his own golf game for the cause. It’s pretty difficult to truely focus on something like golf at the pro level when your efforts are divided playing and promoting at the same time. I don’t like where the LIV money is coming from and what it is attempting to do. Rory is a class act – hope he doesn’t go – but who could blame him if he did.

Roy you continue to get your ass handed to you when it comes to LIV GOLF. You choose poorly, but you're not alone Tiger choose poorly also. Enjoy the shrinking PGA field for the next few years anyway. 😂

How about you shut your mouth mate. You are not about virtue you are about business and you’ve been protecting yours whilst lambasting your peers

I agree with Rory. The LIV model has big flaws. People are basically uninterested in team golf. Also getting prepaid for playing golf takes the competitive edge out of a tournament and makes it boring. The golfers out on the course in a LIV tournament are not nearly as intense as in a PGA tournament. That's why I refer to LIV tournaments as exhibition golf. Rory says the jury is still out. He's right. I think that this current LIV model will ultimately fail. In the short run however someone like Rahm who is offered a pile of guaranteed money and a much easier schedule meaning more time with his family, has to consider it carefully. The PGA ignored its rank and file players for a long time and is now reaping the results of doing that. I still switch right through the LIV tournament on TV to watch the PGA tournament and there are still plenty of good players to watch. I didn't miss Rahm this season when he played much less often and I don't think I'll miss him in the future. And I think he'll find that he won't enjoy playing in the LIV tournaments as much. But the PGA better keep working hard to get better.

great rory has let go of the Liv anger and grudge mentality more healthy for him should equate to better golf for him and less chance of dying of cancer same goes for those in the comments life is too short for that shit get over the healthy competition. PGA has had its day let it R.I.P.

What a turn-around on his views on players that left and joined LIV!! He must be kicking himself now for his choice and especially his remarks about LIV and the guys who joined. Think this is how he is trying to say "I'm so sorry for being so stupid and my big mouth and ego…pretty please invite me again and still offer me plenty of money"….

Rory is becoming a big whiner of late, he always crying about something …. Caddies waving hats, course set up, and as the other comments reference….initial LIV golfers were scum….but ohhh wait, not Rahmbo, he’s my pal……😢😢😢

What's the matter Rory, different attitude when it's one of your buddies that runs for the cash? The PGA used you, and now your just making a fool out of yourself. Your words are meaningless. Back in the draw sock puppet.

Give me $600 million and it would be an honor (a blessing in fact) to be called a hypocrite. That said, money will always be greater than moral values.

As an Irishman, I am embarrassed by Rory at this stage. He is behind the curve on just about everything. At one stage, he didn't even think the Ryfer cup was worth his time and effort.

Why do we have to change rules for greedy people who know the rules before they leave for the promised land, and you can judge someone,as last year he came out with all sorts of bull, saying he didnt need the money,he has enough now,and so on,its just pure greed, and they want thier cake and eat it.

❤why not take the money and run Rory ??????. Supremely talented no doubt, too mant missed opportunities to emulate the real greats of the game. Like Norman the master of capitulation crumbling to Faldo i suspect you'll be joining your'e great mate before the offer is withdrawn and when you do dont forget you owe your ex mates an apology . Never thought the greatest of sports would ever succumb to such greed.
