agree with Rory. American money has squeezed the best players from all countries around the world for decades. time to give back. i've been saying this to people for years.

The PGA Tour has to break out of being so US centric. Golf has a global following, and there are cities with world class golf courses ready to host the worlds best. If LIV Adelaide is any indication, Australians would show their support. Melbourne will be the first city to host 4 Presidents Cups when it comes back in 2028. It would be a huge logistical challenge to put this together, but it has to be looked at or PGA will lose its grip

I'm sorry but we have to accept that Rory while being a very good golfer is a poorly educated moron. The United States is the biggest market for golf and it dwarfs all other markets combined. So to think that it would be a good business move to start a tour that plays all over the world makes zero sense economically given that sponsors are already complaining about the money for elevated events, nor does it make sense for the best players in the world to travel across continents for a tournament. TV ratings are driven by the US market and holding events in vastly different time zones would kill ratings. Rory needs to focus on his game because he is not going to win a major anytime soon based on his recent performances.

Then obviously the world rankings rules need to change since they don't capture the best golfers in the world with their system.

I see. So all of the American and European Tour events, and the history attached to them, will now be of lesser meaning than a tour that's above it?

    NO.

And, why? Exhorbitant compensation for chasing a ball around. Congratulations. You are all willing to sell out golf history, and the memory of 9/11, to a nation that sponsors terrorism, for your wallet. Absolutely despicable. No wonder I prefer watching YouTube golfers. They're not as vile.

The PGAT business model is woeful it's been decaying for years, fans are turning off in droves, sponsors pulling out, tv coverage awful, inc far too many ads, very few people don't want to watch golfers they've never heard of, they want to see the best playing against each other! I suspect the tv figures will continue to decline and understandably so.

Another tour is a monumentally stupid idea, especially one that attempts to replicate a Formula One type schedule.

Put 4 international invitationals for the Top 80 on the normal schedule and be done with it. We can sacrifice the John Deere Classic or the Rocket Mortgage Classic for a few more international events.

It's getting pretty obvious that Rory is starting to miss those LIV dollars. He just wants more money. I'm not down with anything this guy says anymore.

Agree, but Rory has made quite the turn! For the last two years he has been trashing Greg Norman unmercifully, now he sounds like Greg Norman.
Point made is, The PGA Tour has gotten quite monotonous and tedious with nearly the same courses year after year. I find post Masters, (minus Harbor Town which is beautiful) to be tough to watch. The courses are landlocked and boring. Yes they are courses with historical pedigree, but it doesn’t make them automatically fun for the viewer to watch and in “growing the game”. There are gorgeous courses all over the world, and many seaside courses with spectacular views. More of these courses should be utilized by the tour, and all tours for that matter!

And the panel except for Matt, sound like fools and PGA Tour hatchetmen. It is to the detriment of the game, to not eventually give the LIV players World Ranking points. They have the more exciting and big name players right now. The PGA Tour events by themselves now, are boring!
