It's interesting to note the venom that has left this discussion. Shane was vocally against LIV defectors playing on the DP World Tour.

As more and more of the best players are switching to LIV though it's genuinely something that is damaging PGA tour players positions.

The standoff needs to end though as there are too many tours spreading the quality in my opinion.

In relation to the bigger interview he gave today (God forbid they put it on f√¢king YouTube) – Sobering honesty from a golfer everyone can love.

All you need to know about the Saudis is, LIV Golf and PGA TOUR entered into a written agreement in June 23 that no further players would be poached while negotiations continued to happen towards the end of 2023. The American Department of Justice rejected the wording of that agreement (as anti-competition). The Saudis could still have honoured it as a handshake deal, a word of honour, but they're s¢√mbags so they didn't and put further pressure on the PGA and tipped the negotiations completely in their favour by signing Rahm because they're sitting on Trillions of dollars worth of oil. Desperate people. Awful.
