Smash could go on a run like the 4 Aces did the first year. You can definitely expect 3-5 victories

Brooks could care less about this. All he is looking forward to is majors.

@LivGolf I'd like to see the top 3 teams of LIV to play a Ryder cup format against the top 12 PGA players. LIV vs PGA that will be great for both leagues

G-Mac played a blinder in cold, windy and dry conditions. At his best he’s still a quality iron player.

What if, and this is a big what if. What if two members of each team and paired with two members from another team and their scores are posted by team along with the individual scores. It's just an idea off the top of my head. Question is how to increase or showcase the team competition during the tournament.

There isn't much more that LIV can do under the circumstances than just post the total score of each team and what their standings are as the tournament progresses.

One thing that is obvious to me is that there is something lacking on the team side of the competititon. It is there, of course. But it is no where near close to the individual competition.

I think LIV is going to have to "think outside the box" and maybe look at other sports possibly to get ideas how to enhance the competition between teams. If LIV can do that, they will blow the lid off of traditional competition which is simply the individual golfers competing against one another.

What do you think Greg Norman?

LIV could do a contest for people to come up with ideas on how to enhance the team competition. The winner, which of course would be me (lol), would be paid $1 Million. / what do you think Greg?

I like the 54 holes, I like the team aspect, but I hate the loud music playing in the background. Why oh why do they have to do that? I’m certain I’m not the only one that hates it. I don’t like missing the commentary because I have my TV on mute to avoid the extremely annoying music. It sounds like a frat house having a golf tournament. 🫨

Next season I think Liv can finally get a proper format in place with a push from Rahm. 4 days total. First 3 days are the 54 hole tournament with the singles winner announced. Sunday is then the top 2 teams or top 4 from the singles going into Ryder cup style teams event…2 pairs per team alt shot stroke play.. Team with lowest score wins after 18 holes… Now that would be fire

Someone tell me if I am wrong here. LIV format is shotgun, correct? Doesn't that mean at some point, if the number of players grows too large, they won't be able to have all "card carrying members" be allowed to play? Shotgun start only allows 4 players per hole, 18 holes is 72 players. I suppose they could do A and B groups per hole, would be kind of weird tho.

I watched a vlog someone did at this event. I thought it was kind of cool they had announcements around the practice area sort of counting down to kickoff type of thing. Like an announcement that groups would be heading to their tees to start the tournament, its kind of neat instead of having the traditional starting time format.
